Elections - A look inside the Egyptian Embassy in New York

By Mark - Posted on 05 June 2012

You walk into the embassy on the 2nd floor at 1110 2nd Ave. in New York and you will be asked if you have a copy of your Egyptian ID and drivers license. If you don't have a copy, they will make a copy for you. Once your ID# is entered on a laptop and they verify that you have a registration number, you will be asked to sign your name on the voters list. Once you sign, you can then fill the vote form and put a check mark next to Ahmed Shafik or Mohamed Morsi and then fold your voting form and drop it into one of the boxes sitting by the window.
